To deny that I find Ryan Gosling very attractive would make me a liar, but this movie was fantastic for reasons other than him simply being in it. So, so good. A lot of people say it was too slow and boring but I thought it was captivating. I also appreciated the blunt but somehow tentative morbidity that enhanced its sense of reality.
